Polisport Bicycle Childseat Bracket
A possible defect has been discovered on the bracket used for attaching the child seat to the bicycle on certain Polisport products. The affected brackets may, under extreme conditions, fracture and cause the seat to detach and cause injury to the child. As a consequence they have taken the preventative measure of recalling all brackets manufactured since November 2006.
The affected models are the Polisport Joey child seat and the Polisport Wallaroo child seat. Affected models are easily identifiable from the moulding on the rear of the seat (please refer to the diagram at the top).
All other models remain unaffected.
If you have one of these child seats, cease its use immediately and contact them to arrange remedial action.
