Coors Brewers Ltd has recalled two batches of Grolsch Premium Lager 300ml bottles, with code L8199 and L8200 and best before end date (BBE) 31 Mar 09. Only 300ml bottles with both these batch codes and this best before date from a 20 pack are affected.
This recall follows the discovery of some pieces of glass in a small number of Grolsch Premium Lager 300ml bottles.
No other Grolsch products or packages are affected. This product has only been distributed to Morrisons.
Health and safety is of, paramount importance and all the affected product is being recalled.
The best before date and batch information are located both an the external cardboard packaging and also on the shoulder of the bottle. Affected product should be returned to Morrisons. Further information can be obtained from the Coors freephone number on

Only product with this specific best before date and code are affected.
This was solely a manufacturing fault and they apologise for the inconvenience caused to both consumers and Morrisons.
