This safety notice only affects Ball Pits purchased between 19 January and 9 February 2005.
Early Learning Centre has recently been alerted to a manufacturing error that affects stock sold from 19 January to 9 February 2005. In some circumstances, the caps on the ends of the reinforcing rods could become detached and, as small parts, they present a possible safety hazard to children under 3 years old.
They always seek to remove any possible risk to their customers' safety, so they have manufactured new rods for the Ball Pit with end caps that fit more securely.
If you have purchased a Ball Pit (108483) from them during this time, please stop using the Ball Pit and call their customer services department on

for a set of the replacement rods, or return your Ball Pit to your nearest store for a full refund.
If the Ball Pit was purchased as a gift, please advise the recipient to contact Customer Services on the above number or return their Ball Pit to their local store.
Early Learning Centre apologise for any inconvenience or disappointment caused,
but they believe this precaution to be appropriate, and once the rods have
been replaced, they are completely confident about the safety of this toy.
